Thank you to the 10 volunteers that helped with our clean up event on
Fri 2 May.  The weather was kind to us - just a slight breeze
It is likely that another event to clean up in the dunes is to be planned, but this is pending information and permission.

Harlech Beach covered in Snow 4 March 2006.The Clean up for 4 March 2006 was cancelled because of the unexpected snowfall.

The beach clean up events are at the mercy of our weather conditions. The dates above will go ahead only if the weather is suitable. Events are usually postponed if it is wet and/or windy and a new date is usually posted the day of any cancellation. Information regarding this can usually be obtained by checking this web site before 10.00 a.m.on the date of the event. Volunteers with my phone number and can phone me also before 10.00 a.m. Remember: Before embarking on a long walk along the beach, check the times of the tide.
Tide information is usually displayed on the notice board at the entrance to the beach by the car park in Beach Road. Alternatively you can purchase a 2008 tide table for £1.50 approx issued by Gwynedd Council or visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/coast/tides/wales.shtml and go to the Barmouth port information.
